Nerijus Numavičius
Nerijus Numavičius (born 12 May 1967 in Šilalė) is a Lithuanian businessman, chairman and president of VP Group. In late 2010, he increased his ownership in VP Group from 36.9% up to 73%.〔(VP grupę perima N.Numavičius )〕 Due to his ownership of VP Group, he is considered to be one of the wealthiest Lithuanians. In 2011, his net worth was valued at LTL 3.8 billion.〔(Turtingiausių sąraše B.Lubys užleido vietą N.Numavičiui )〕
In 2001, Numavičius earned bachelor's degree in medical sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University, where he studied the public health. Numavičius is chairman of the International Business School at Vilnius University〔(VU TVM taryba )〕 as well as a congress member of the Lithuanian Business Confederation (ICC Lithuania).〔(Congress and presidium )〕 He is the older brother of Lithuanian expat and philanthropist Julius Numavicius, who left VP Group in 2010 to start an investment group and family office in the United States.
